Local Amenities

The beaches of Puerto Banus are a few minutes’ drive from the Community or a brisk 40 minute walk for those who want to leave the car behind. There are beaches a little further afield in Marbella and Estapona that are still only 20 minutes’ by car.

There are several restaurants nearby including those in the local golf clubs of Las Brisas, Los Naranjos and Aloha which hosts a music and dance evening on Friday nights that is well worth a visit.

There are three local supermarkets within a 10 minute drive of the Community and the Supersol  in Central Plaza is surrounded by bars and restaurants that overlook the coast. Central Plaza and the nearby streets hold a market every Saturday between 10.00 and 14.00 where you can browse everything from paintings to pomegranates and pick up souvenirs of your time in Andalucia.

The typical Spanish towns of La Campana and San Pedro del Alcantara are also nearby and worth a visit, as are the white washed hill towns of Ojen, Istan and Ronda a little further away.

For those wanting to party into the early hours Puerto Banus is host to numerous bars and discotheques that are often open until 4am!
